Jiffy Treat in Bloomington

We have been to the Ellettsville location and had much better experiences. My husband went in to order our ice cream at this location and the man working was impatient with him because my husband had to send me a photo of the menu (I was waiting in the car to be responsible during the COVID-19 crisis.) This was supposed to be a treat for our family, but instead my husband was treated terribly, the milkshake I ordered was flavorless, and the grilled cheese we got for our son was burned. The man was impatient with my husband before he placed his order, walked away from him while he was ordering, and was rude when my husband asked where he should pick up the food he ordered. We won’t be back again.

Loved the peanut butter ice cream

Got the Mud Pie cyclone. It was quite delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and fast. We were there for a busy shift, and the staff was totally patient and prepared. 5/5. Would pig out there again.

As you might expect in a place that specializes in desserts it is awesome. In addition the normal ice cream, they have vegan alternatives that are quite good. They also have just about every ice cream mix in you can think of. The staff is always polite and even though it is frequently busy they are fast. I highly recommend Jiffy Treet.

My cookie dough ice cream is amazing. I really enjoyed it they have always done a good job every single time. I will of course be back. The workers are friendly at this location. They are fast efficient and kind. Thank you again for a pleasant time and good food.

A Bloomington treasure. Great homemade and soft serve ice cream. Friendly staff. Lots of options from sundaes to blizzards. They also have a sugar free option with lots of flavors. Highly recommend.

My favorite one is the black raspberry --- so juicy and tasty!The staff is very fun and friendly. The service was very quick and polite.The location is clean and cozy. Amazing ice cream! Ample portions! Service can be a little slow, and there’s not enough room inside the store to sit and enjoy the ice cream. None of this will stop me from going there, though..

The day we visited was it warm streak day and the place was packed but they got our ice cream out fast with a smile on their face the whole time

Took a small trip to show the kids a college hangout, used to love Jiffy Treet and although it's a little different, same great tasting desserts I needed to get me through some long study nights

Absolutely the best ice cream.

No longer doing curbside pickup. We called and asked to order to our car, because customers were not social distancing in line/outside and not wearing masks. They denied our order, and said we would have to come into the store. The manager was supposed to call us and it’s been days without a call. We took our business to The Chocolate Moose, who still do curbside pickup!

The ice cream is a bit expensive but it is very delicious. It has outdoor seating. It also has indoor seating. It has many flavors including Superman, cookies and cream, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate and cheesecake.

Their hurricanes (or whatever they call it, the ice cream mixed with a whole bunch of toppings and whatnot) are amazing. My favorite ice cream spot in Bloomington. It’s a little bit pricey, but you get a LOT of ice cream even if you order a small size.

One of the best ice cream shops in town. Plus, they serve food. No fryers on right now, but they can grill up just about anything.

Best locally homemade ice cream! Butter pecan is my favorite, but they offer lots of great flavors.🍨🍦🍧😋

There is always a lengthy line. But it is worth the wait. Open late which is great. Been coming here for MANY years and plan to return for many more!

With great safety and social distancing practices in place, it was a nice treat to stop in for milkshakes for my kids and a Turtle Sundae for me! No pics, it was hot and we didn't want to let the deliciousness melt.

Wonderful icecream. The texture is amazing. Th sweetness is just right . Enough to make it a treat and to be able to actually enjoy the flavor. They are genius ice cream makers.

The cyclones at Jiffy Treat are amazing. Lots of mix-ins to customize and make your own creation. They also have a little selection of sandwiches and fries. I find the prices to a little on the high side. We payed almost $20 for a cyclone, parfait, and a scoop of homemade in a cup. But how can you put a price on bliss?

Great lil in corner tuck away for ice cream🍦 and toppings selection to suit 🥜🍫🍪🍰🍬🍭🍓🍒🍍most any request🍨😋 aswell as sum hot serve food items I recomend trying the B.L.T and I love there blackrasberry ice cream made into a shade with a banana added in🍌🆒

Jiffy treat is delicious!! However, expect a long wait, not sure why but there is always a line out the door and service is slow. It’s super frustrating.

Best tasting ice cream in town! Tiny space, but they work quickly to complete orders. When they weigh my cone I wonder if they would actually add to or take off some ice cream if it wasn't exact.
